Berkshire / Richford Free Library

Berkshire Free Library:

  • The Library was organized in 1920 as a local community effort and received New York State charter as a non-profit educational institution in 1926.
  • Located at the corner of NYS Rt. 38 and Jewett Hill Road, the building is one of the older homes in Berkshire, dating back to the 1820's.
  • The Library is presently a member of the Finger Lakes Library System.
  • The Library operates the Berkshire History Museum

  • Tuesday 12:00-5:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday 1:30-7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday 1:00-5:00 p.m.
  • Friday 3:00-8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
